Sean Martin

Sean has been working in the Lord’s vineyard for the past eighteen years in the fields of education, evangelization and catechesis.  He has a passion for spreading the Gospel message of salvation, and challenging everyone he meets to fall deeply in love with Jesus Christ and His Church.  He enjoys speaking about the Blessed Mother and St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.

He has participated in the New Evangelization through door to door evangelization, walking across the U.S. for pro-life with Crossroads, evangelizing on the beaches of Florida, giving talks and retreats throughout the country, working in parish youth ministry, teaching religion for a few Catholic high schools, and serving as a diocesan director.

Sean holds a BA in Theology, MS in Education Administration, and is close to earning an MA in Theology and Christian Ministry.  Previously the Director of New Evangelization, Catechesis, and Family Life for the Diocese of Sioux City, he currently serves as the Director of Religious Education for the Diocese of Gary, IN.  Sean teaches Natural Family Planning, and is a member of the Augustine Institute’s RCIA and Adult Faith Formation training team.

Sean has been featured on EWTN’s Life on the Rock with North American Lourdes Volunteers, co-hosted a local radio show called the New Evangelization Today, and has authored numerous articles published in a couple of Diocesan newspapers.  Sean and his wife Stacy have five children and live in Valparaiso.

Sean was very approachable and personable as a consultant. He did a great job leading us through each session, maximizing the fruitfulness of our time together as a team and giving us the tools to grow in our work and ministries.
